One week in November...

Samuel and I went for a visit in Dayton! I've put some of the pictures up already.

We had a blast. We only wish Jon could have come, too! Hopefully next time :)

Poor Samuel has been fighting a cold for the past week. And before that, we've just been trying to get back on a schedule and settle back in at home. We like routine! So sorry for the delay in posting all these fun pictures :)

Sam loved peek-a-boo with Papa!

Aunt Kate!

Came back from shopping with
Aunt Kate and found this cute little man passed out on the floor.
Thanks Uncle Jake!

Love his big brown eyes.

Aunt Kate gave Sam a mohawk after his big boy haircut! SO CUTE.

Aaaaand we're done playing.

Hello, sweet boy.

We took a little trip...

to the Newport Aquarium!

My main motive for this trip was to meet up with my sweet friend Liz who lives in Louisville with her hubby and daughter. She was nice enough to drive halfway to visit with Samuel and I (and my sister Katilyn, too since she had the car!) so I figured we could do something fun while catching up.

Samuel loved it! Well, he loved the fish. Not so much the animals that didn't move. He was so great and just enamored with the brightly colored fish. His eyes would get big and then he'd get excited and smack his little hands on the glass.

It was so precious to watch him discovering all these new sights. So of course I brought my camera! Enjoy the pictures :)
